After completing my master degree, I will find a job in Taiwan magazine publishers.

To be a sports reporter has been my dream since I was in the elementary school. Due to my interest, baseball is the section I want to work in particular. In addition, the international affairs are also appealing to me. Due to the reasons above, Taiwan Panorama and Professional Baseball - two magazine companies - are where I want to work.

I have some experiences that make me more employable. In my junior and senior in the university, I interned for two years with Chinese Professional Baseball League. Besides, my degree, Sports Management, contributes to my extensive knowledge of sports. Further more, with my UK Journalism master, I may be suited for Taiwan Panorama - a bi-language magazine.

However, some facts could be obstacles to my goal. For example, it is difficult for women to be baseball reporters in Taiwan. People tend to offer the opportunities for men. Moreover, except baseball and basketball, I do not understand other sports very well. Thirdly, lack of experience may cause me take a bit more time to adapt to media environments.

To pursue my dream, reading sports news becomes my routine everyday. I hope it can help me own sufficient background knowledge to most sports. Meanwhile, I also try to analyze sports news from different angles - to avoid bias and limitations. At the time of studying in the UK, learning English and absorb information as much as I can have occupied most of my time.

Being a sports reporter seems not a big challenge. However, how to be a reputable and professional one is a tough task.
