Their beautiful anthem makes every Welsh person feel proud
The compelling voice rings out across the Millennium Stadium, as 80000 fans standing, sing out their love of Wales.
Before a Welsh rugby match kicks off, singing the Welsh national anthem is a tradition. Although English is the dominet language in Britain, the song is still the pride of the Welsh.
A Welsh fan said, “I hate it when people don't sing our great national anthem, it’s as if they’re ashamed.”
At the rugby match,“Bread of heaven", the English name for "Cwm Rhondda", is another popular song. The crowd burst into song after their team scores. However, it is often sung in Engligh, even if they are sitting at Welsh Rugby Union’s home ground in Cardiff.
The looks on fans’ faces express the love of Wales, when the sound of those songs wafts through the stadium.
