Jogging in the park while wearing your Santa suit
The Cardiff Santa Dash is a festive charity event that everybody can be a Santa on that day.
Participants who pay a registration fee can get a free Santa suit for adults and a pair of toy antlers for children. All people who take apart this event can walk, jog or run the three-mile course around the beautiful Bute Park.
It is fun dressing Santa suits and raising money for people with heart disease. The Cardiff Santa dash aims to raise money for British Heart Foundation, which is the largest independent funder of heart research in the UK.
The runs are great help to other charity organizations as well. According to ECHO, the Liverpool Santa dash last year raised more than £70,000 for the ECHO’s Sunrise Fund. It is the first time taking place in Cardiff, and will start at 12.30pm from in front of the Winterwoderland by Cathays Park.
